- Disc annular Tear: a rupture or break in the outer fibrous ring (annulus fibrosus) of an intervertebral disc.

- Disc Degeneration: a condition where the intervertebral discs in the spine deteriorate over time.

- Disc Herniation: occurs when part of the soft, jelly-like center of an intervertebral disc (nucleus pulposus) pushes through the tough outer layer (annulus fibrosus) of the disc and presses on nearby nerves or the spinal cord.
